My mind automatically goes to cryptic crosswords and noticed if we take the - in ad-ual to be a missing letter and we add the letter n (this is why it doesn't work because there's no indication to add an n )
we can anagram it to make Landau as in Juliet Landau who played Romana
and fools glow made me think of the TV episode the idiots lantern (eg fool is an idiot, and lanterns could be described as something that glows.
Really excited for this release, I like the long form stories format more than the 60 minute single episode stories, as it means I can break the story up over a couple of days if needed
I think I found the hint in your Morbius the Mighty post! "Come on, it’s one of the Time Lord’s greatest generals entering the Time War, how’s that for a HOOK?". And then the next paragraph, LIGHTly billed as a sequel to my DARK GALLIFREY story. You sneaky bugger!
It sounds like you've put much thought into this tale, even more so than your other (stellar) Fifth Doctor stories! I am especially intrigued by your mention of the 1981 LOTR Radio Drama as I'm a big fan of that! Anyway, I cannot wait for Hooklight and would LOVE to see more "primers in the lead-up to its release". Oh, and as an aspiring writer who's been developing a story over the past 2 years that I would describe as a "Gothic Steampunk Space Opera inspired by classic myths and literature", your two Morbius trilogies this year were SO up my alley! Thanks again for all your fab Doccy Who yarns!
Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you're looking forward to it. Glad the Morbius marathon was to your taste as well. (Definitely similarities with Hooklight! Tonally they're different, but it's another big story on a large canvas.)
So excited!

Love your lateral thinking Simon! Whether there's basis for any of it, only time will tell :)

An intergalactic brownie for YOU, Cameron!

Would I need to listen to anything before I listen to this?
No! Completely standalone.
Thanks for letting me know
