Timmy Tech Week
Spotlight (and other lights) on IT WALKS AROUND THE HOUSE AT NIGHT
It’s tech week for the spooky play! I’m surrounded by ridiculously talented people, aka the cast and crew of IT WALKS AROUND THE HOUSE AT NIGHT. By the end of the week, we’ll have performed our very right first previews, here at The Engine Room in Wigan. Excitement!!
If you haven’t got your tickets yet… I’m afraid the show is currently sold out, but there’s always a chance for returns! Keep your eyes on the ticket page.
In my experience, the rehearsal period is partly a process of letting go. I was there at beginning with the shit drafts and the notes, I rocked up for Week One for the deep character chats and the text edits, and of course I’ll leap into action if the dress or previews bring up any scriptural issues… but at this point, I’m mainly huddled at the back, usually with a brew, keeping out the way as others work their magic. And this time I’m GRINNING as well - cos honestly, this show is looking, and sounding, and feeeeeling proper good. I cannot wait to start sharing it with you.

Dinosaurs in London
But that’s not all! There’s a whole other show for you to enjoy! We’ve had three magnificent previews of JURASSIC in the last few weeks. I can confirm at least one (1) audience member laughed at at least one (1) of my jokes, so surely that means you’re in for a humorous night.
I’m thrilled for these funny chaps to take London by storm. You can still book tickets for our Soho Theatre run HERE. Again, if you see the show, let me know!
Phew! Lots going on. And there’ll be a couple of more surprises from Foley One Kenobi here. Perhaps some audio delights… and another theatrical venture, wowzer. Watch this space. For now, enjoy your pumpkin pies, or whatever seasonal treats you prefer.

A brief announcement for any Mancunian playwrights! We’ve got a newsletter up and running for “MEOW” (Manchester Evening Of Writers) - these are pub drinks for theatre scribes that I co-host with the wonderful writer Billie Collins. If that sounds like it appeals, sign up below, and come join us at the next social!

So THRILLING that it’s all happening! Looking forward to seeing both in the coming weeks and indeed next year! Huge congratulations x
